Keep it up with the new renovate videos… LOVE EM!!!!!!
Nice video, my pet generation of accords
You’re an inspiration, Dave.
@pimpinpenz then you promptly spontaneously combust into a conservational fireball.
@Projective
what engine ?
@siemenstraffic I believe the car wasn’t his so I am sure he didn’t want to do it in dread of ruining something. I remember from the ancient channel he used to post a few vids fixing cars for friends and other people at his place
@Fuscoooo I like that sound. all ive ever owned is hondas. i can be anywhere and here that sound and not see the car, “yup, thats a honda” too terrible that since 2006 i reckon, they started by a uncommon crank motor and it doesnt sound nearly the same.
@pimpinpenz you wont die.
All Hondas sound the same when u start them up haha
Its not a 92 it’s a 90 to 91 coz it has no air bag and the back and front has 91 ligths just pont that out
@Lukeno52
No, you use heatsink compound with bare skin, and the oil from your skin by the side of with your skin cells get mixed in with the compound, and then it will not cure right or work properly. ALWAYS use a thin sandwich bag or rubber gloves.
The “DOOR OPEN” chime sounds like my alarm clock!
I took 55 gal. drums of distributers to the crusher every month when I worked for a honda dealer. 90-93 had problems in the southeast U.S from lockdown due to moisture according to a bulletin.Btw are you sure its a 92 it didnt have a airbag on the steering wheel.
Excellent stuff dave
i reckon EricTheCarGuy did the same renovate.
Your tech vids are allways to the point and informative.
@pimpinpenz the only problem with touching heatsink compound with bare skin is that it’s a pain in the ass to clean off.
cool
Brilliant video, you can even change the ignitor out without removing the distributor. I’ve done this exact thing at least twice on my Dad’s ’90 Accord. The early 90′s models are still considered excellent-looking cars today, but the automatic transmissions SUCK!
@Lukeno52 Yes you do xD
@Lukeno52 yeah, and what happens if you dont get it all off and go to eat something…
nice vid dave
